What does Villa Aumédan represent?

I must say that Villa Aumédan reflects my personality and the life that I have always aspired to live. When you look at it, it's just that one story villa that is simple and beautiful with its architectural design and garden, the minute you walk in you get astonished by rich art pieces and the exquisite fragrance of the fresh cut flowers and the aroma of the coffee roasting at IYKYK Cafe.

What does Jumeirah resemble and why did you choose it as the home of Villa Aumédan?

Jumeirah resembles my family and childhood, it’s where I grew up and where all my family’s lands are. Our house was quite close to the beach, precisely in Jumeirah 1. I feel like Jumeirah is the Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, you get to find all the cool places, kids, and the best food.

What other areas in the UAE are special to you?

I would say Abu Dhabi, it is my haven and my other half’s city. Abu Dhabi is quiet, and I feel at peace when I am there, especially when I am on Saadiyat Island. Crystal clear waters and golden sands. It’s just perfect. It gives me a good balance in my daily busy lifestyle. Another destination would be The Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi as well. Art inspires me, and nothing makes me happier. If I am looking for some adventure, I would go to Hatta.

How did the rich heritage of the UAE shape the man you are today?

Villa Aumédan embodies the essence of Emirati heritage by creating a space where tradition and modernity intersect. Inspired by the UAE’s history of storytelling, craftsmanship, and hospitality, I have dedicated myself to supporting local artists and talents, providing them with a platform to shine. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture of the UAE instilled in me a deep respect for resilience, ambition, and community—values that shape my entrepreneurial journey.

Our ancestors used stars to guide them through the land, what was your guide in building a successful business?

I have no doubt in the stars because they’re high, and that’s what everyone should aim for, as high as the sky, yet beyond. I would say my guide was my heart. I have always known what I want, and I never confuse myself with choices. I am a man of a decision and exclude myself from being chosen, I choose what I want. I’m also a huge believer in giving, and if you give, you will definitely get back what you have given ten times more. Follow your heart. Never doubt yourself, and deep inside, your mind will respond to your heart. And always be gentle with yourself, there is no such thing as a wrong decision. Even if things don’t work out your way, then it’s definitely a lesson.

History books have taught us how our community found resources in nature and strived to build a solid foundation. What’s the lesson that you wish the young generation would learn from this vast history?

Agreed, a solid foundation is essential in all aspects of life – love, work, business, everything. The UAE’s history is built on a solid foundation, both literally and figuratively. Our ancestors didn’t just survive, they thrived by turning sand, sea, and sheer determination into a way of life. They laid the groundwork for what we are today, and honestly, they were the original entrepreneurs. That same mindset inspires me as the founder of Villa Aumédan. This villa isn’t just four walls and a roof, it’s a solid foundation for creativity, collaboration, and culture. Because if there’s one thing the UAE has taught me, it’s that when you start on a solid foundation, there’s no limit to what you can build.
